Britain’s Got Talent’s Amanda Holden has revealed that she is contemplating a return to performing on stage herself.
The 43-year-old talent show judge originally made her name on TV shows such as Cutting It and Wild At Heart but has also enjoyed success as a stage actor.
In 2004, Holden was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for her performance in the lead role of Thoroughly Modern Millie.
She also starred as Princess Fiona in Shrek: The Musical during it’s UK run in 2011.
Amanda admitted she is considering a possible stage role.
The Sun quoted her as saying: “I’ve been really tempted by this play…”
Though she did not name the play, she conceded that her BGT fame could be an issue for some critics.
“It’s very different from the kind of work I’ve been doing,” she told the newspaper.
She went on to add: “I know that if I don’t nail the part, I’ll be a target.”
