Broadway and West End Star Kerry Ellis To Perform At The Hippodrome

Award-winning Broadway and West End star Kerry Ellis has been confirmed as special guest for The Velma Celli Show at The Hippodrome Casino on Friday May 30th. Revered around the world, Ellis has starred in some of the most successful theatre productions of all time including Miss Saigon, We Will Rock You, Les Miserables and Wicked, and is one of the few artists to have successfully made the crossover from theatre to the pop charts.

Ellis joins cabaret star Velma Celli and her Musical Director Joe Louis Robinson for an eclectic mix of live music, hilarious parodies, incredible dancers and slick choreography. The cast also includes aerial artist Katharine Arnold and burlesque star Jolie Papillon.

Velma is the alter ego of musical theatre performer Ian Stroughair, who has appeared in West End hits including Cats, Fame, Chicago and most recently the UK tour of RENT, playing Angel to critical acclaim. ‘A stand out turn’ (Mark Shenton).

Audiences can expect a night of sublime music, superb entertainment and some of the best cabaret you are likely to see on any stage in the West End.
