Pop star Nick Jonas is hoping to add musical producer to his impressive resume – he is planning to create a hit West End stage show.
The former Jonas Brothers singer has his sights set on producing and starring in a new theatre musical after his stint on the London stage for Les Miserables in 2010.

“I’m trying to buy the rights to a story that already exists and I want to turn that into a musical but is very hard.
“(Performing in) the West End was one of the best experiences of my life. I think I’d want to write the show and be part of the original cast next time, because coming into a show is very tough.”

Asked if he was frustrated some people wrote him off as a solo artist because of his background, he said: “I think that that was an obstacle for sure in the beginning and it’s been great to see that kind of change quite a bit.”
His single “Jealous”, based on his relationship with beauty queen Olivia Culpo, has enjoyed huge success is the States and is headed towards the top of the charts in Britain.
Nick’s single ‘Jealous’ is out now.
