The UK production of The Cher Show stars Debbie Kurup, Danielle Steers and Millie O’Connell as Cher – Star, Lady and Babe respectively, the show tells the incredible story of Cher’s meteoric rise to fame.
Principal cast includes Lucas Rush as Sonny, Jake Mitchell as Bob Mackie, Sam Ferriday as Greg Allman and Tori Scott as Georgia. Rounding out the cast are Jordan Anderton, Jasmine Jules Andrews, Carla Bertran, Catherine Cornwall, Áine Curran, Sam Holden, Samantha Ivey, Aston Newman Hannington, Ingrid Olivia, Clayton Rosa, Chay Wills and Guy Woolf.
The musical is packed with 35 of her biggest hits, including ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’, ‘I Got You Babe’, ‘Strong Enough’, ‘The Shoop Shoop Song’ and ‘Believe’. The Cher Show is written by Tony Award-Winning Rick Elice and is directed by Dame Arlene Phillips with choreography by Oti Mabuse.
The Cher Show opened at Leicester Curve on 19 April 2022 and has since played venues in Sunderland, Hull, Sheffield and Manchester.
The next stop on the extensive UK & Ireland tour is Belfast Grand Opera House running from 24-28 May, before continuing on to: Blackpool, Nottingham, Canterbury, Plymouth, Dublin, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Southend, Cardiff, Stoke on Trent, Woking, Cheltenham, Dartford, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Wolverhampton, Bradford, Brighton, York, Ipswich, Southampton, Northampton, Liverpool, Bristol, Wimbledon, Darlington, Torquay, Oxford, Llandudno, Norwich and Carlisle.
Dates for the West End transfer have yet to be revealed.
