We caught up with him and here is what he had to say about his career to date.

Hello Lewis, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. How are you doing?

Lewis Capaldi: I’m doing great, thank you for having me.

So, your first album “Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent” was a huge success. Can you tell us a little bit about ‘Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent’ and the creative process behind it?

Yeah, sure. I wrote a lot of the songs on the album when I was going through a tough time in my personal life, and I think that really comes across in the music. I tend to write from a place of honesty and vulnerability, and I think that’s what people have connected with.

Your music is known for being very emotional and heartfelt. How do you approach songwriting and what inspires you?

I think the key to good songwriting is being able to tap into your emotions and express them in a way that connects with other people. For me, it’s about being authentic and writing from a place of truth. I draw inspiration from my own experiences, as well as from the people around me.

Your fans are incredibly devoted. How do you stay connected with them and what role do they play in your career?

My fans are everything to me. They’re the reason I’m able to do what I love for a living, and I’m so grateful for their support. I try to stay connected with them as much as possible, whether that’s through social media, meet-and-greets, or just being present at my shows. They inspire me and motivate me to keep going.

You’ve achieved a lot of success in a relatively short amount of time. How do you deal with the pressure that comes with that, and what advice would you give to up-and-coming artists?

Yeah, it can be overwhelming at times, but I try not to let it get to me too much. At the end of the day, I’m just a guy who loves making music, and I try to stay focused on that. As for advice, I would say to just keep working hard and believing in yourself. It’s a tough industry, but if you’re passionate about what you do and you’re willing to put in the work, anything is possible.

Finally, let’s talk about money. With all the success you’ve had, how do you manage your finances and plan for the future?

Lewis Capaldi: I’m still learning when it comes to money management, to be honest. It’s not something I was taught in school or anything, so I’ve had to figure it out as I go. I have a team of people who help me with that kind of thing, but ultimately, I try to be smart with my money and invest in things that will benefit me in the long run.

Well, Lewis, thank you so much for speaking with us today. It’s been a pleasure.

Lewis Capaldi: Thank you for having me. It’s been great.

Capaldi’s upcoming record ‘Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent’ is set to be released in May.
