While most GTA games simply allow you to type in a cheat code while your character is walking around, GTA 5 has a few different ideas to mix up that formula. Depending on which platform you’re playing on, here’s how to use GTA 5 cheat codes:

• On Xbox, PC or PlayStation, input the code on your controller at any time while you’re wandering around the game world.
• On PC, you can press one keyboard button (¬ in the UK or ~ in the USA) and then type in the cheat code on your keyboard.

Is there a GTA 5 money cheat?

Nope! There’s no money cheat code in GTA 5.

The developers from Rockstar like us to have some fun with cheating, but they have not given us a way to make a ton of free cash – which is not in the least bit surprising.

This applies to both single-player and multiplayer, there’s no GTA money cheat for either. You’ll just have to make dosh the old-fashioned way.
