GTA 6 is set for some wild new features, MarkMeets can reveal.
Whilst GTA 6 is still a long way off, but that hasn’t stopped fans from scouring the internet for morsels of info about the game.
One such crumb that could be teasing the future of the franchise has been spotted in a Rockstar job listing.
Rockstar VFX Artist listing hints at possible GTA 6 features
The role is for a VFX artist at the studio, and given that GTA 6 is the next title we’re all anticipating, it’s likely the candidate will be working on the game.
Obviously this is by no means confirmed so take it with a pinch of salt, but we could be in for a treat.
According to the listing, the successful applicant will “help to bring extra life to the environment, characters, weapons, vehicles, and more.”
Rockstar is looking to kick its visual effects up a notch, to create an immersive “believable world.”
In terms of what that translates to in-game, it means “ambient effects for things like insects around the player and rain dripping off buildings.”
Small details like that are, of course, great, but it’s the next part that should really get you excited.
“Large scale destruction events like skyscrapers crashing to the ground,” are also described.
That could be referring to cinematics but if it’s a gameplay event, it could point to some epic in-game action.
We don’t have many details about the upcoming title, and this is all speculation.
But it sounds like we’re in for some serious upgrades with GTA 6.
