Little Mix Confetti Tour kicks off next month – here is all we know so far

With the ‘Confetti’ tour being the band’s first live shows in a while, they three admit they have alot of work to do!

As they prepare for their busy schedule to get even busier, Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock have been rehearsing their gruelling routines and warming up their vocals after over two years away from the stage.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of their mammoth 2022 tour as they start rehearsals for shows across the UK and Ireland.

Little Mix 2022 tour dates:

The tour will begin in Belfast on Saturday 9th April 2022, before the band play dates in Dublin, Newcastle, Liverpool, Sheffield, Birmingham, Liverpool, Glasgow, Leeds, Cardiff, Manchester, Nottingham and London.

What is the set list for Little Mix’s ‘Confetti’ tour?

No set list has been announced just yet, although the girls are set to perform some of their biggest hits including songs from their sixth album ‘Confetti’, ‘Holiday’, ‘Break Up Song’ and ‘Not A Pop Song’.

Fans can also expect to hear some of the group’s biggest hits since they formed back in 2011, such as ‘Touch’, ‘ Woman Like Me’, ‘Black Magic’ and ‘Shout Out To My Ex’.

Who is supporting Little Mix on their ‘Confetti’ tour?

It’s been announced that Since September will support Little Mix on their 2022 ‘Confetti’ tour.

The band, made up of Matthew Nolan, Harry Holles, Patrick Ralphson and Jacob Fowler, won Little Mix’s The Search in 2020. There prize for winning the show was to support Little Mix on their next tour.

What happens after the tour?

The band said: ‘We wanted to let you all know that after the Confetti tour in April/May next year we are going to be taking a break from Little Mix. It’s been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects.

‘We can’t thank you enough for your love and never-ending support since the beginning. We love you all SO much.

‘We are not splitting up – Little Mix are here to stay 💫 We have plans for more music, tours and performances in the future. We’ve made so many incredible memories with you all, and we can’t wait to make so many more.

‘We’re sisters and we’ll always have each other and you, the fans, in our lives. Little Mix is forever ♥️ See you on tour! Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie x’. (sic)

In a recent upload the girls filmed themselves in dance rehearsals, strutting through the studio with their incredible dancers around them to their 2016 single ‘Touch’.

“Us [handshake] Jumping on a trend before it’s been and gone,” they captioned the video on Instagram.

The trio also posted a video of them warming up their vocals as they tried to sing ‘Love Sweet Love’ as perfectly as when they first recorded it.

With Leigh-Anne and Jade waiting for Perrie to hit her high notes, which she does eventually, the girls all burst into fits of laughter as her voice cracks, beautifully may we add.

Little Mix are a British girl group, consisting of group members Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

Each of the singers has already embarked on their solo careers, teaming up with writers who they’ve previously worked with.

They’ve also taken on solo projects such as movies and documentaries and clothing brands of their own.

One of The X Factor‘s biggest global success stories, Little Mix rose to fame having taken home a win on the eighth season of the UK version in 2011. Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock auditioned as individuals before being grouped together during the bootcamp stage. Changing their name from Rhythmix mid-season – due to its usage elsewhere – the band delighted UK audiences with renditions of En Vogue’s Don’t Let Go and Katy Perry’s E.T., among others.

The band had already found widespread acclaim even before beating Marcus Collins in the season’s final. Afterwards, Little Mix appeared on a national ad campaign for Marks & Spencer and featured on the charity single, Wishing On A Star. However, they narrowly missed out on the coveted Christmas No.1 to the Military Wives Choir.

The band released their second single Wings in August 2012 and returned to the top of the UK charts. Both singles appeared on their debut album DNA later that year, which reached the top five both at home and across the Atlantic. From there, Little Mix proved unstoppable, becoming one of the decade’s most successful pop acts. In 2016, Little Mix released Glory Days, their first UK No.1 album, spurred on by the singles Shout Out To My Ex and Touch.
