Jade Thirlwall wins GAY TIMES Honour

EXCLUSIVE FIRST ONLINE NEWS OUTLET TO REPORT

Jade Thirlwall is the cover star of this month’s issue of the magazine and we love Jade for many reasons and not just the music.

The 28 year-old star has been awarded the GAY TIMES Honour for Allyship this evening and it’s totally deserved. Her love the the community is outstanding.

Jade only ended up winning the Allyship Award at the ceremony didn’t she!! OH YES.

Our queen was presented with the award by musician MNEK.

Little Mix have always been heralded as advocates and friends of the LGBTQ community, but no one more than Jade Thirlwall! Hey Hun xx What a campaigner, supporter and confidant to members of the community she has been.

Simon Jones shared the news saying “So proud of everything Jade stands for and the amazing support she constantly shows to LGBTQ+ community. Red heart @LittleMix”

Jade posted “It’s an honour to be part of the Honours Issue. Allyship is fundamental, essential and eternal. Forever standing with and fighting for the LGBTQ+ community.

Served! on MTV won Jade a load of new fans too after following her love of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Jade looked stunning too tonight

Gay Times said Jade Thirlwall has proven herself to be one of the greatest allies the LGBTQ+ community has today.

From marching with UK Black Pride and working with LGBTQ+ charity Stonewall, to platforming queer performers in Little Mix videos and becoming the unofficial brand ambassador for RuPaul’s Drag Race, the star has naturally advocated for the queer cause.

And in a world where LGBTQ+ identities are still under attack, having allies like Jade is crucial. The current state of anti-LGBTQ+ hate isn’t lost on her either.

“I think the more that I learn about my allyship and what I can be doing and how I should be doing those things, the more passionate I’ve become in using my voice and using it in the right way,” Jade tells GAY TIMES as she covers the Honours 2021 issue.
