Britain’s Got Talent’s Bars and Melody have said they don’t hold any grudges with the people who bullied them in school.

Charlie, 15 from Bristol and Leondre, 13 from Wales make up BAM and impressed the BGT 2014 panel on Saturday night with their own take on the Twista and Faith Evans track Hope, which included an original rap about their past experiences of bullying.

The performance won the singing duo a standing ovation from both the judges and live audience, leading Simon Cowell to finally press his golden buzzer, sending BAM straight through to the live shows later this month.

Simon told them at the weekend: “I’ve heard some monstrous songs today and I was literally losing the will to live.

“You know what, I listened to every word. Did this stuff happen in your life? I think that record could be a hit. I really, really like you two.”

Despite bullies forcing young Leondre to move schools, he insists he doesn’t have any bad feelings towards them.

“I don’t hate the bullies. The bullies must have had a hard time for them to take it out on people who are not as strong and not the tallest either! I can’t say I’m tall!” he said.

Speaking to DigitalSpy, Leondre added: “I just feel like it has been an experience. What my mother always says to me is, ‘What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’.

“I just feel like if I hadn’t experienced that, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.”
