Rugby stars set for X Factor’s raunchiest performance

Rugby stars Ben Foden, Thom Evans and Levi Davis have been rehearsing and are set to put on the “raunchiest performance” to date on ‘The X Factor: Celebrity’.

The trio of stars will perform on the celeb version of the ITV talent competition as ‘Try Star’, as they prepare to hit the stage for the first live show tonight.

The show’s Producers are concerned their ‘Magic Mike’-inspired routine may end up rivalling that of the 34 Ofcom complaints ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ received earlier this year, for a plunging dress Amanda Holden wore.

“They are all hoping to impress Nicole Scherzinger, who has a front row seat to what is set to be the raunchiest performance the X Factor stage has ever seen!

“But producers have told the boys that the dance poles they wanted to use are one step too far and they’ve been removed from the creative.

“They’ve drawn the line at poles but the lads are still set on getting all the ladies and men hot under the collar as they take to the stage on Saturday night.”

Try Star left production staff “blushing” during rehearsals this week, and there is reportedly concern they will “shock” viewers.

A insider told us: “During dress rehearsals nobody knew where to look.

“It was all getting a bit too steamy in the new studio – and a lot of the production staff were left blushing.

“There’s still some worry that the lads may leave viewers shocked by their hip action antics as they fight to get through to next week’s show.”

And despite their raunchy antics, the rugby professionals are said to be taking the competition seriously.

“The boys can always laugh at themselves but they are taking the process really seriously and want their X Factor Celebrity experience to launch them as a boyband.” reported The Sun.

Tune in 8.20pm as The star-studded version of the singing contest continues with the first of the live shows, with Vinnie Jones joining those who made it through the auditions, including Ricki Lake, Jenny Ryan, Megan McKenna and the Love Islanders. With Simon Cowell mentoring the Groups, Louis Walsh coaching the Unders and Nicole Scherzinger in charge of the Overs, the celebrity hopefuls will be leaving their comfort zones at the door as they battle it out to ultimately win a record deal.
