Camila Cabello reveals she had Imposter Syndrome’ While Joining ‘The Voice’ in new interview

Camila Cabello has opening up about having imposter syndrome ahead of her debut on The Voice as a coach.

The 25-year-old singer spoke to about joining the show and revealed the pressures she faced.

“I do get a little bit of imposter syndrome sometimes. I do want to do right by the contestants and sometimes I’m like — there’s some people that are 40, they’ve been doing this for so long and I’m like, ‘I think you should do it like this,’” she says.

Camila continued, “But I’m like, you know what? No because I have been doing this for 10 years now and I had extreme situations where it hasn’t been a slow journey either. So I’ve had to gather a lot of knowledge in a short burst of time. I do have something to offer and I try to just be as helpful as possible.”

She also shared that previously serving as an advisor on the show helped her out, too.

“I don’t feel pressure anymore because I am absolutely killing it,” she boasts.

Fellow coach John Legend then jumped in, saying that Camila is “really good. Honestly, she took to it almost immediately and she’s been so good on the show. Very competitive and she’s going to be a tough one to beat.”

The Voice season 22 will premiere Monday, September 19 on NBC. C
