‘Ones to Watch’ join Sundown Festival line-up

‘Ones to Watch’ confirmed to round off main stage

Sundown Festival has announced the final line-up for the main stage at this year’s event, which is expected to top 40,000 festivalites for the first time at the event over the last weekend in August, which is fast-becoming the biggest festival to end the summer season.

Following the Sundown ‘tradition’ of featuring a mix of several of the UK’s top artists with talent-on-the-rise – often with precision, as with Maverick Sabre in 2011 through to The Vamps in 2013 – the rapidly expanding festival welcomes a host of promising artists expected to flourish over the coming 12 months.

Already boasting a main stage line-up of Chase & Status, Tinie Tempah, Zane Lowe, Katy B, Foxes and Pusha T on the Saturday, with Ellie Goulding, John Newman, Clean Bandit, Neon Jungle, Ella Eyre and Jess Glynne on the Sunday, All About She, Sasha Keeble and Virus Syndicate have joined the Saturday afternoon performers, with Intensi T, Hatty Keane and M.O joining the Sunday afternoon line-up.

Elsewhere, #1 selling artist Second City, Copyright and Christoph join House specialists Defected Records as they host Sundown’s dance Stage 2 on the Saturday night, with DJs MK, Breach, Sam Divine and Shadow Child previously announced, while Loadstar, Frankee and Mind Vortex will join drum and bass label RAM Records’ takeover for the Sunday, with Andy C, Wilkinson, Calyx & Teebee and Delta Heavy previously confirmed.

Following phenomenal growth for a festival, Sundown Festival 2014 tickets are in high demand – with camping already more than 90% sold – after Sundown festivalites grew from 15,000 at the 2011 event to 38,000 in 2013 and has since been featured in various popular TV shows.
